Open Door Christian Childcare started as a ministry of Open Door Bible Baptist Church under the leadership of Mrs. Judy Farnum. "Miss Judy" as she is lovingly referred to as by all the children here, has had a heart for the Lord and for children all of her life and has seen hundreds of children grow up in this childcare center over the many, many years that she has been here.

In June 2021, Miss Judy passed along the leadership to Ms. Connie Zenor. "Miss Connie" has been a nurse, an administrative leader in hospital care, and an assistant director at a girls boarding school. She has faithfully served the Lord along the path of life He has taken her on, and she now serves as the director here at Open Door Christian Childcare.

Open Door Christian Childcare offers Christian childcare founded on the principles of Scripture and aims in helping to rear children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
